The AutoSurf ™ is a Surfboard CNC milling machine for blanks, it was developed with the purpose to offer to the Shaper a product of high quality, precision and repeatability, with a accessible price for the acquisition and a low cost of operation.
It is a CNC machine of three axles ---(X, Y, Z) for milling an pre-formatting of surfboards, making it ready to be submitted to the process of finish.
The milling of a surfboard is made in a blank, that it is a soft foam block with a structural ply-woode at the middle called stringer.
The function of this AutoSurf machine is the milling of blanks into hydrodynamic profiles such as: concave, double concave, wing, edge, etc.This respecting the few input variable: Length, Width, Outline, Slices e Rocker.

The cutting head in the vertical axis is composed of a three-phase brushless tree motor, proper for the milling operation;
A especially balanced milling tool, proper for the milling operation comes with the AutoSurf CNC machine;

Software:
The drawing software is a 3D parametric design software that creates a file with the DXF extention.
The drawing of the surfboard is made on the three view (SIDE, TOP, FRONT) with the it's respective inputs:

It comes with a Software of conversion for the DXF drawing archives to the G Code (CNC language).
The CNC of the machine uses the file converted into G Code to execute the surfboard milling operation;
The milling of the stringer is an optional function. It allows the choice if you want it or not to mill the stringer of the surfboard during the convertion of DXF to G Code.
