The Cold Compression Strength machine is an automatic equipment for testing of compressive strength of iron ore pellets. It can analyze up to five pellets per minute from feeding, positioning and application of the load at break and discard the pellet broken.
Test a sample of 250 pellets and issues reports and graphs of the test in about 50 minutes, following all the test procedures established by ISO.

This equipment can determine the diameter, volume, density and porosity of a pellet of iron ore by processing digital images of the pellet and the measurement of their weight on a precision scale, integrated system.
Thus, determining the volume is done quickly and accurately while avoiding the use of mercury or water and calculating the degree of swelling of the pellet.

Consiste em um dispositivo de amostragem automático instalado na correia transportadora da saída do forno da usina, que alimenta uma máquina automática de compressão.
Incorpora um sistema de elevação, descarga, divisão da amostra e a máquina automática de compressão.
A Estação de Teste dispõe de sistema de controle local e é concebido para operar sob comando da sala de controle da usina. O sistema de controle local comanda e monitora o seqüenciamento dos equipamentos recebendo comandos e enviando dados.
